Winter Weather Advisory December 9-10

From Chief Meteorologist Steve Hamilton:
Snow Showers, Wind And Cold...
Snow is likely Thursday night into Friday for the Foothills. As far as accumulation, we are saying "minor" quite a bit in our forecasts. Generally that means 1" or less. Still, roads could be a little slick. And keep in mind, it will be quite cold and windy. A low and cold front will cross our state Thursday afternoon, but there doesn't appear to be much support for a lot of snow in the lower elevations. Some areas of the mountains should pick up about 10 to 20 inches from this storm, and a Winter Storm Warning is in effect for much of the Colorado High Country. If you'll be traveling high up, be prepared for winter driving conditions, slick roads and poor visibility.
