...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS AGAIN TODAY...

.Critical fire weather conditions will redevelop by mid morning as winds increase. It will still be very dry despite relatively cool temperatures. Winds should subside somewhat Friday but dry and breezy conditions will persist. Saturday may be warmer and windier again.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR ALL OF THE PLAINS AND I-25 CORRIDOR...FIRE WEATHER ZONES 238 THROUGH 251...

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250 and 251.

* Timing...9 AM until 8 PM.

* Winds...North 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.

* Relative Humidity...10 to 20 percent.

* Impacts...Any fire that develops will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning should be avoided, as well as any activity that may produce a spark and start a fast moving wildfire.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
