Wildland fire at Crystal Way and Snowy Trail, Conifer

Elk Creek Fire and Inter-Canyon Fire are responding to a wildland fire at Crystal Way and Snowy Trail in Conifer near Hilldale Pines. Crews advise the fire is growing, is currently at 100' x 100'. Additional apparatus being brought in.

Fire is 3/4 of an acre in size, actively burning in grass and willow, 10-15' flame lengths, structures are being threatened. Ordering 2 additional brush trucks.

Forward progress of the fire has been stopped, standing down 2nd alarm resources from Evergreen, Indian Hills, and North Fork Fire.

Fire has been knocked down, continuing to mop up, estimated time to containment. Cause unknown. Spread is low to moderate.

Asking for a medic to be staged as a resource on this fire just in case. Power lines are being checked by Elk Creek Fire, but CORE Electric has been requested to assess for any damage as well.

CORE Electric ETA is 30 minutes and a fire investigator has been requested.

Perimeter has been walked and no visible damage seen to power lines.
