Accident Hwy 285 at Shaffer's Crossing (MM 231)

Elk Creek Fire is responding to a reported accident on Hwy 285 at Shaffer's Crossing/S. Elk Creek Rd. (MM 231). According to travelers, a vehicle has struck the median and there is debris in the northbound lanes. Please use caution going through the area.

Vehicle is tangled in the median cables, requesting assistance from CDOT to remove and tow the vehicle.

Moving the patient down to S. Elk Creek Rd, awaiting CSP. Hwy 285 is re-opened.
