Small grass fire in the 23000 block of N Turkey Creek Rd

EFR has crews onscene of a small grass fire in the area of 23000 N. Turkey Creek Rd. No homes are threatened and no evacuations ordered. Please avoid the area to allow emergency equipment and personal to safety work.

Per ICFPD, the fire is 20x40'.

Size-up: no change in size, character of fire creeping and smoldering. Fuels: Grass and light timber. No threat to other structures at this time and no additional resources needed. Flame length 1-2". Currently have a wet line around the fire.

Fire is contained, working on mop up and waiting on XCel. There is a power pole and power line in the middle of the area where the fire is located.

N Turkey Creek Rd remains blocked both directions while crews finish up the fire, and handle a new medical emergency at N Turkey Creek Rd and Kilimanjaro.

Fire is out, mop up complete, command terminated.
