Structure fire 34000 block Chilton Ave, Pine Junction

Elk Creek Fire and Platte Canyon Fire are responding to smoke reported coming from a single-story residential structure in the 34000 block of Chilton Ave in Pine Junction (off of Wandcrest Park Rd) with heavy smoke coming from the basement. Elk Creek Fire is on scene, confirmed heavy smoke in the basement, and is investigating the situation. Platte Canyon Fire has also arrived on scene.

The source of the fire has been located, crews are knocking it down now.

Primary and secondary searches were negative. Fire is knocked down.

The fire is under control. Crews are at 20 minutes on scene.
