The #SnowCreek Fire is difficult to access, so three crews of firefighters are hiking in with handtools. In the air, Douglas County is lending its helicopter to the effort. As you can see conditions are pretty smoky for the pilot. Link to Tweet - video

First SEAT retardant drop on the fire. Strategy is to keep the fire to the size it is now- 2 acres. Wind has died down a bit, which is helping firefighters. #SnowCreek Fire. Link to Tweet - video

Morning briefing for the #snowcreekfire. 35 firefighters will be working on containment and mop up today. West Metro crews joined by firefighters from @PSICC_NF
& @COStateFire. Right now- very little smoke is visible from the fire area. 1/2

Weather today calls for warmer temps than yesterday, so you could see more smoke as the day heats up. The fire is situated on a steep, rocky ridge, access is only on foot, so crews will have to hike in. Mt. Lindo remains closed. Containment updates as they become available.

From last night:
