Semi over-turned on Hwy 285 at MM 222 in downtown Bailey, highway is currently closed. Platte Canyon Fire and Elk Creek Fire responding. 2 parties trapped, crews working on extrication.

Per Jim Richardson, the coroner has been requested. This will be an extended closure while they investigate the crash.

As of almost 10pm, both directions of Hwy 285 remain shut down per Chimney Doctors of Colorado whose office is just around the corner from the accident. Traffic is being re-routed around via Main Street.

The driver was flown to the hospital in stable condition.

US285 reopened to traffic at County Road 64 (near Bailey) at Mile Point 222.
