Structure fire 15700 block S Elk Creek Rd

Elk Creek Fire is en route to a structure fire in the 15700 block of S Elk Creek Rd. Smoke and flames visible from structure, fire has extended into surrounding trees.

Neighbors on either side of the structure are evacuating. CORE Electric is en route.

North Fork Fire also responding with apparatus and personnel.

Home is fully engulfed, nearby home is threatened. Several trees are on fire, but it does not appear to be spreading. Road is icy, advising incoming apparatus to use caution.

Hazards: Propane tank exposure next to the home, and power lines dropping in the road. Crews fighting fire defensively, unable to get a 360 assessment, protecting the propane tank until more water arrives.

CORE Electric has arrived on scene.

Fire is under control, crews have been in overhaul for about 20 minutes.
