Hwy 126 closed between FS 550 and Deckers

126 is closed between Little Scraggy Trailhead (550) to about Deckers (Wigwam). Road is collapsing!

Per Aly in the 285 Traveler Group: “[Hwy] 126 is washed out, police have closed 126 from the Deckers side.”

HIGHWAY 126 IS CLOSED BETWEEN THE SCENIC OVERLOOK AND DECKERS.
TORRENTIAL RAINS HAVE CAUSED MUD SLIDES AND SOME HIGHWAY DAMAGE.
THERE IS NO CONNECTION TO DECKERS FROM 6 MILE HILL AND VISA VERSA.
SOME NEIGHBORHOOD REPORTS ALONG LOWER ELK CREEK ARE REPORTING HIGH CREEK WATER AND POSSIBLE ROAD IMPINGEMENT.
LOCAL FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT.“
