Pile Burns Feb 10-11, 2024 Preserve at Pine Meadows OR S Elk Creek Road area

The Module may be conducting pile burn operations tomorrow, February 3rd and Sunday, February 4th in the area of Hwy 126 and Hwy 285 at either the Preserve at Pine Meadows -OR- the S Elk Creek Road area near the Glenelk Community. Some information about the projects and maps follow:

- Burning piles in the Preserve at Pine Meadows or Glenelk areas
- Projects are part of an approximately 50 acre thinning project the Module completed in 2020, and a project near the Glenelk Community as part of a ridge top thinning project completed in 2022.
- Some smoke may be seen in the Preserve at Pine Meadows, Wandcrest, and Hwy 126 areas. For Glenelk, smoke may be seen near S Elk Creek Road, the Douglas Ranch Community, and surrounding areas.
- Smoke may affect your health, please follow the link below for more information on the health effects of smoke.
