Pile burn operations March 8-9

Based on conditions, the Module may be conducting pile burn operations today, March 8th and/ or Saturday, March 9th in the area of Hwy 126 and Hwy 285 at either the Preserve at Pine Meadows -OR- the S Elk Creek Road area near the Glenelk Community. Some information about the projects and maps follow:

- Burning piles in the Preserve at Pine Meadows or Glenelk areas
- Projects are part of an approximately 50 acre thinning project the Module completed in 2020, and a project near the Glenelk Community as part of a ridge top thinning project completed in 2022.
- Some smoke may be seen in the Preserve at Pine Meadows, Wandcrest, and Hwy 126 areas. For Glenelk, smoke may be seen near S Elk Creek Road, the Douglas Ranch Community, and surrounding areas.
- Smoke may affect your health, please follow the link below for more information on the health effects of smoke.
