Accident involving a semi and multiple vehicles on Hwy 285 near Shaffer’s Crossing. Both directions closed, confirmed fatality. Expect an extended closure.
Initial reports are that the semi lost its brakes which caused it to lose control, crash into vehicles, and spill its load, but there’s been no official report yet.
