Per PulsePoint, this is still an active call with only a few apparatus on scene.
Per Jeff Suda on our Facebook Page at 12:30am: A neighbor spoke to the sheriff on scene and was told "Sheriff says it's contained and the active fire is down but they are going to be dousing it for hours"
Christy Martin posted also at 12:30am: My Mountain Town They are currently working on putting out the embers. Three trucks have pulled out, but there are still five trucks, an ambulance, JeffCo, and an Excel truck. They did an AMAZING job responding and getting it under control quickly. Very impressed with the multiple stations that responded. And!!! Thankfully the wind had died down.
From Stephanie Ecker on our Facebook Page: Hey all. This house belonged to my boyfriend, Steven, we’re currently out of the country and trying to navigate this the best we can. Please keep an eye out for an all white cat with green eyes as he is the only thing that cannot be replaced. We’re beyond grateful for the fire departments work in containing this. We appreciate everyone’s support.
Please call Colton at 303-910-1028 OR 303-910-5321 if you find him! Thank you.
Proudly serving mountain Jeffco, Clear Creek & Park County!
