#SchuylerGulchFire: Wildland fire northeast of Pine Grove

There’s a new fire northeast of Pine Grove that Elk Creek Fire and Conifer Fire have responded to. There are downed power lines and trees, at least one tree is torching. The fire is moving to the north, no structures are currently threatened.

Update 427pm: "Schuyler Gulch Fire": Fire is approximately 1 acre and slow moving, not currently threatening structures.

We are responding to an ACTIVE WILDFIRE currently reported at approximately 100ft x 100ft in the area of Schuyler Gulch Rd. Crews are arriving on scene and we will update as we can. Please stay clear of the area and allow emergency response vehicles through. SMOKE is visible in the district.

Forward progress has been stopped on the fire. It is slowly burning in rocky decomposed granite, with 2-3 trees slowly burning and not spreading. Resources not on scene have been stood down. CORE Electric is on scene to assist.
