THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST AND NORTH CENTRAL
COLORADO.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP OVER THE MOUNTAINS THIS AFTERNOON...WITH
SCATTERED LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS SPREADING ONTO THE PLAINS
DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS
THROUGH THIS EVENING OF 2 TO 5 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE
MOUNTAINS...WHILE ANY ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ON THE PLAINS WILL BE LESS
THAN 1 INCH.
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO DROP BELOW FREEZING IN ALL AREAS
TONIGHT.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY
IT WILL REMAIN UNSETTLED INTO FRIDAY NIGHT. A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE MOUNTAINS FOR THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
THE PLAINS. A WEAK UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED TO MOVE
ACROSS COLORADO FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND FRIDAY NIGHT AND COULD PRODUCE
A BETTER CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AT THAT TIME. FOR
SATURDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...A GRADUAL WARMING AND DRYING TREND WILL
SET UP OVER THE WEST...WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING
THUNDERSTORMS EACH DAY.
