An early morning blaze Saturday destroyed a home in the Friendship Ranch subdivision north of Bailey and forced the evacuation of nearby residents while firefighters worked to contain the fire.
Fueled by high winds and a ruptured natural gas line, the fire consumed the two-story house at 863 S. Pine Drive and ignited nearby grass and trees.
