Please plan to arrive between 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. for this 2-hour open house event. The last observatory tour will take place from 10:00 - 10:30 p.m. During your 1/3-mile moderate hike, stop at stations along the road and chat with astronomy team members. Learn about constellations, night sky navigation, view Saturn and much more. Take a tour of the historic William Baehr Observatory once you reach the top and view through the historic 6" refractor telescope. Additional telescopes will be set up for viewing too. In the event of clouds, team members will have night sky related activities on hand to present. Program will be cancelled if driving & road conditions are hazardous
Ages 10 to adult only.
