One of the three workers who fell about 30 feet on July 26 after a partial scaffolding collapse during construction on the new Re-2 school district campus in Fairplay died early Wednesday morning.

Silviano Barreras-Martinez, 35, of Federal Heights, Colo., died at St. Anthony Central Hospital in Lakewood due to "multiple traumatic injuries due to fall," said Park County Coroner David Kintz Jr. He said the worker's family was with him when he died.

"The exact cause of the fall is still under investigation," Kintz added.
