150 YEARS of HISTORY
The Park County Historical Society is celebrating the actual 150 YEAR BIRTHDAY of Park County on Tuesday, November 1st from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Platte Canyon Community Center in Shawnee. It’s a Potluck so bring a yummy dish. Those who don’t will be charged $5.00. We will be providing a cake and coffee so please…no desserts.
There will be four presentations: Railroads, the Salt Works Ranch, Mining and Gangs. Please join in on the fun while we celebrate our beautiful county! We hope to see you there!
We will be scheduling dinner and a speaker once a month. Those with historical knowledge are more than welcome to give a presentation.
