Proposition 103 fails in Park County, state - The Flume

Proposition 103, a tax hike designed to benefit K-12 schools and public colleges, failed in Park County and in the statewide vote in the Nov. 1 election.
Proposition 103 was the only question on the all-mail-in ballot for Park County this year, said Park County Clerk and Recorder Debra Green.
In Park County, the proposition was overwhelmingly defeated with 3,324 “no” votes and 1,059 “yes” votes.
With 73 percent of the precincts in Colorado reporting as of 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 1, there had been 517,576 “no” votes cast and 288,901 “yes votes cast. Details at [url=http://www.theflume.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;]www.theflume.com[/url].

This was a state-wide issue --- had nothing to do with RE-2 (Fairplay) or Platte Canyon District specifically/individually, and nothing to do with ParkCo government at all.

I guess little ole Park County voters had no say in it then?
