The Action Center assists thousands of disadvantaged and low income people across Jefferson County and say they are in urgent need of food for both their upcoming Thanksgiving food distribution on Nov. 20th and their daily distribution of food.
They are in particular need of dried potatoes, yams, turkey gravy, corn bread (mix), pie filling and chicken broth for the holiday boxes. The center could also use about 150 more volunteers to help this season. To make a financial donation, donate food or to volunteer, call the Action Center at 303-237-7704.
