The Park County Historical Society will host its last Dinner and History Presentation for 2011 on Saturday, December 10th from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Platte Canyon Community Center in Shawnee. This $5.00 dinner will consist of sloppy joes, side dishes, hot chocolate, coffee, tea and dessert. Soda's are $.50.
There will be a presentation by Erwin Engert on Park County Postal History. Mr. Engert is a member of the Denver Post Card Club, the Colorado Postal History Society, the Denver Stamp Club and the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library.
We’re in the process of scheduling many events in 2012. Those with historical knowledge are more than welcome to give a presentation.
