Wind gusts of up to 109 mph in South Park toppled trees across roads and onto houses, cut power for hundreds of homes, and also cut communications for county offices.
The damage wasn't limited to South Park.
Among other things, gusts destroyed a scoreboard at the Platte Canyon High School football field, damaged some bleachers, and bent a steel beam.
