Attendees of the Conifer Area Council meeting on Nov. 16 heard about a plan that could help reduce fire danger and help heat a school in South Park.
Mike Smith, executive director of the Colorado Renewable Resource Cooperative and an Re-2 school board member, said that he and his group had been working with the Jefferson County commissioners to set up a biomass collection site somewhere in southwestern Jefferson County.
