Hartsel-area rancher Vern Wagner has been prohibited from owning or managing cattle in Park County, according to a Dec. 15 order from Fairplay-based District Judge Stephen Groome. Details at The Flume's website at

Like nobody saw this coming. Based on what the judge said on the 14th. "no matter what ruling he hands down there will for sure be an appeal" the difference being, that if the judge would have ruled in Vern's favor, the county would be paying for the appeal.. as it sits, Vern has to pay for the appeal. I saw the same thing happen when the county went after Laquinn Thomas. They cost Mr. Thomas EVERYTHING he owned including his marriage. Watch out Vern their coming for your land!!!!
