The cattle of Hartsel-area rancher Vern Wagner are all gone. The 600 that remained from a herd that two years ago was 1,200 were rounded up on Dec. 16 and shopped to La Junta, Colo., to be sold at auction. The round-up occurred after an order was issued by District Judge Stephen Groome banning Wagner from owning or managing cattle in Park County. Details in this week's Flume.
