The exhaustive Park County Sheriff’s Office investigation into the alleged embezzlement of funds from the Pine Junction-based Intermountain Humane Society released Feb. 17, sheds light on claims made last December that nearly $20,000 had been stolen from the nonprofit.
Those allegations include the personal use of an IMHS credit card by a former employee who has yet to pay back more than $5,000. They also included the theft of adoption fees by one of two people.
