Many special district elections in Park County will be canceled due to a lack of candidates, but some will go on as planned.
Information available by Tuesday night indicated that the only Park County special districts that will have elections are the Hartsel Fire Protection District, the Elk Creek Fire Protection District, the South Park Parks and Recreation District, and the Fairplay Sanitation District.
