With help from Park County’s one percent sales tax, the only remaining working cattle ranch abutting U.S. 285 northeast of Bailey will be placed under a conservation easement.
The Deer Valley Park Association property extends from Rosalie Road northeast for about one mile on the south side of U.S. 285 and ends just before Roland Valley Drive.
The ranch encompasses 720 acres.
The ranch also surrounds the historic Horn Cemetery on U. S. 285.
Details in this week's Flume.
