A hearing officer has commended that former Elk Creek Fire Chief Bill Dolan repay nearly $44,000 in disability benefits that he received from the Fire and Police Pension Association.
A March 14 document written by hearing officer Thomas Kanan recommends that Dolan be disqualified from receiving permanent occupational disability benefits, and that he should be required to repay the disability benefit that he received.
