Lake George Charter School in southeastern Park County was put on a two-hour delay Tuesday morning, according to a voice mail message from Principal Pat Lewis. Lewis could not be reached for further comment about the reasons for the delay, but the Weather Channel website indicated at 7 a.m. that it was snowing in Lake George and it was 24 degrees with an estimated 0.8 inches of snow having fallen in the last 24 hours. The Weather Channel forecast for Tuesday for Lake George includes 8-12 inches of snowfall with winds of 25-35 mph.
