I am SO excited to announce that Mountain Peace Shelter will be holding our 20 hour Crisis Line/Direct Services Volunteer Training! This is an important FREE training for people interested in helping on our 24/7 crisis hotline, supporting families in our shelter, and over all, creating peace in ourselves and for our community.
Requirements:
A good listener
Calm in crisis situations
Nonjudgemental
Be able to pass a Criminal Background check and Child Registry check
One year committment
You need to attend all of the days: Saturday, April 21st from 9am-5pm, Friday April 27th from 5pm-9 pm, and Saturday April 28th from 9am-5pm. If you cannot make this training, we plan on holding this training at least 3 times a year from now on, so please contact us to sign up for future trainings.
