Three Park County sheriff’s deputies are the subject of criminal and internal affairs investigations after they were suspended from duty this week for the alleged inappropriate discharge of a weapon.
Park County Undersheriff Monte Gore told The Flume that two of the deputies were suspended from duty Wednesday and one was suspended Thursday.
The criminal investigation into the deputies is being conducted by the Teller County Sheriff’s Office. The Park County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the internal affairs investigation, Gore said.
