A man who walked away from a minimum security corrections facility in Alamosa on April 2 was stopped for speeding later that day in a stolen car in Park County by a Colorado State Patrol Trooper.
Billy Ray Hendrix, 48, was picked up after he was stopped for speeding on U.S. 285 near County Road 35, about two miles southwest of Jefferson, by State Trooper Dirk Carlson.
