Sam Mick, who owns the Colorado East Bank & Trust building and the building housing Prather’s Market and South Park True Value, is planning tie-in construction to the bank building for an 8,000-square-foot Family Dollar store.
Mick said construction would begin as soon as the Colorado Department of Transportation approves an upgraded U.S. 285 access permit for the property. The upgraded permit is required because of the expected increase in traffic when the store opens, which, Mick estimates, will be sometime this summer.
“That’s all we are waiting for,” said Mick.
