Former Elk Creek Fire Chief Bill Dolan filed a formal objection to a March 9 recommendation by a hearing officer for the Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado. The hearing officer recommended that Dolan be required to repay almost $44,000 in disability benefits he received for an injury he suffered in 2009 while working for North Metro Fire.
