USFS says beetles declining in Park County - Flume

Mountain pine beetle activity is declining in Park County, said Jeff Witcosky, U.S. Forest Service entomologist at the regional office in Golden. And the decline is significant, from 22,000 new acres in 2010 to only 2,200 new acres in 2011, a decline of 90 percent. Details in this week's Flume.
