On April 12, Colorado Parks and Wildlife commissioners met in Pueblo to vote on the addition of two tracts of land in Park County to the Colorado Natural Areas Program.
The two areas, which are located within the Pike National Forest, met with unanimous approval from the commissioners. Within the Colorado Natural Areas Program, or CNAP, these areas will now be offered protection from a range of human-derived threats. Details in this week's Flume.
