Hooray!!!!
After MONTHS of cleaning, construction, acquiring donations and display items, over 1,000 volunteer hours (WOW!!!!),
The Mountain Peace Boutique & Resale Shoppe will be
OPEN (Open! Open! Open!)
Tuesday, May 22nd from 10 am to 6 pm!!
Regular hours will be from Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. It is located in LoBay (lower downtown Bailey), between the Knotty Pine and the Conoco on 285.
We are looking for *patient* shoppers to get first dibs on all our AMAZING donations at great thrift store prices in our beautiful new store!!! We just got in 3+ truckloads of BEAUTIFL furniture for our store! Come check it out!
You--YES, YOU--can test our volunteers, our cash register system (we do take checks, VISA and MC) and see how we are doing !
Please be gentle and kind to alll (we ARE creating peace in our community, you know!), knowing that our systems will get better every day!
We still need a number of committed (no, not THAT kind of committed! ) volunteers to be managers and volunteers to help run the store! If the store has a closed sign on it one day, it will probably be because we are still working on filling our volunteer schedule with fun-loving, caring mountain neighbors. Hum....does this describe you? Call Laurie Rogers at 303-525-8952! She is anxious to meet you!
Ready or not....here we go! Looking forward to raising needed funds to help run our shelter, SafePets program and creating more programs to end violence and create peace in our mountain community and our world!

Congrats on finally opening Mountain Peace! That was quite an accomplishment - how did today go? I'm sorry I didn't make it up, but I'll get there soon.

6/8/12 Note New Hours: Starting next week, due to customer traffic flow and challenges staffing with volunteers, we are modifying our hours to:
Tues-Friday 10 to 5 and Saturday 10-4.
