The Springer fire is 100 percent contained.
The wildfire, located three miles southwest of Lake George in southeastern Park County, has burned 1,145 acres and estimates have held steady at that level since Wednesday.
The fire was estimated to be 87 percent contained late Friday, but as of 6 p.m. Saturday night it was pegged as being 100 percent contained, according to an InciWeb website update from the Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team at about 9 a.m. Sunday (see http://www.inciweb.org/incident/2916/ ).
