Park County Historical Society Election

Park County residents, here is your chance to serve your community in an interesting activity.
The Park County Historical Society is calling for nominations of individuals prepared to help conduct the regular business of The Society, a non profit 501(c)(3) organization, and advance our mission through service on the Executive Board.

We will hold the election of these officers at the next meeting on the 6th of July: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and one Director. Though we now have candidates for Treasurer and Director, we really need candidates for Secretary and President. Our current Secretary is stepping down, and we really need a new president.
If you are at least 18 years old and a member in good standing of PCHS by July 6 (memberships dues are $15 for individuals, $10 for seniors), please consider helping in one of these positions.
If you would like to volunteer for, or nominate someone else for one of these offices, please e-mail: . , or call Barbara Jerome Behl at 303-838-2305.

In order to have a successful election we need not only candidates for the above positions but a quorum of at least 20 members present at the meeting. Please come and support your historical society.
The meeting starts at 6:30 PM and is held at the Platte Canyon Community Center in Shawnee. For questions or directions please email Doug Stephens - Park County Historical Society Secretary - . .
