Park County Sheriff Fred Wegener lowered Park County’s fire restrictions from a Stage II to Stage I on the morning of July 10 after a number of consecutive days with rain.
Stage I fire restrictions, include the prohibition of all campfires in the county unless the fire is in a permanently constructed fire grate in a developed campground or area.
