Former Elk Creek Fire Chief Bill Dolan is suing the attorney for the Elk Creek Fire Protection District board for malpractice.
Dolan’s lawsuit, filed on July 6 in district court in Jefferson County, alleges that attorney Bob Cole, who represents the Elk Creek Fire Protection District board, failed to draft a contract that complied with conditions for Dolan’s disability benefits from the Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado.
