Scott Appel, the husband of a woman killed in the Lower North Fork fire, wants answers.
That was the message delivered at the Aug. 13 meeting at Conifer High School, where he asked for those answers from a five-person committee formed to investigate the fire, which claimed the lives of his wife, Ann Appel, and two others.
