Two people on Aug. 14 were ordered to pay $300 fines for violating Park County’s fire ban as part of a guilty plea that saw the original $1,000 fine reduced.
Thomas McBroom of Colorado Springs and Jordan Gunderson from Aurora were ordered by Fairplay-based County Judge Brian Green to pay the $300 fines, a reduction of $700 from the original ticketed amount.
As part of their pleas, the two men must not violate any burn bans for 12 months after the sentencing.
