Inmate population declines in Park County, state - Flume

The number of inmates housed in the Park County Jail has dropped significantly since 2008, mirroring similar trends from the Colorado Department of Corrections.
The steepest decreases in inmate populations at the Park County Jail happened in 2010. As of June 30, 2010, 45 inmates were housed at the Park County Jail. That was a decrease of 73 percent from the June 30, 2009, figure of 167 prisoners.
