The unemployment rate in Park County dropped in July when compared to last year, following a similar trend seen in the U.S., while the state rate was flat.
Information from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment shows that the not seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Park County dropped to 7.1 percent in July, a decline of four-tenths of a percentage point from the 7.5 percent reported in July 2011. Details in this week's Flume.
