On Aug. 25, the Conifer Blues Festival will take place at the historic Meyer Ranch in Conifer.
“This festival is a benefit,” said Kirk Glienke, an event coordinator.
Proceeds will partially go to the “I Love U Guys” Foundation, created by John-Michael Keyes and Ellen Stoddard-Keyes, whose daughter Emily Keyes was shot and killed in September 2006 after a lone gunman entered Platte Canyon High School and took students hostage. The concert will also benefit the Lower North Fork Fire Disaster Relief Fund, administered through the Mountain Resource Center in Conifer.
