MT. EVANS HOME HEALTH & HOSPICE VOLUNTEER TRAINING STARTS OCT. 2
Don’t miss your opportunity to become part of the team at Mt. Evans Home Health & Hospice! The fall session of volunteer training will be held October 2, 4, 9 and 11 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Guest speakers and staff members will provide an overview of home health and hospice, patient care activities, support services, advance directives, and spiritual care throughout this 14-hour training.
An integral part of the Mt. Evans team, volunteers donate thousands of hours each year to ensure the continued success of this nonprofit agency. Both short- and long-term commitments are available in a variety of areas. Clerical help, fundraising, transportation, respite care, bereavement support, and patient companions are among the duties that volunteers regularly fulfill.
Training meetings will be held at the Mt. Evans offices, at 3081 Bergen Peak Dr., in Evergreen. For more information about volunteer training, call Heather Boor at 303-674-6400 or email
Reservations are recommended, as space is limited.
